Overview

The NAS Draft Portal is a private tool used by authorized members of The Midnight Round Table team to prepare and upload draft videos to the team's YouTube channel.

Google and YouTube data we access

The application uses Google OAuth 2.0 and the YouTube Data API. When the channel owner authorizes the application, it may access YouTube account information and channel functionality allowed by the granted YouTube scope. The application uses this access only to support the team's upload workflow, including checking the authorized channel, uploading videos, setting supported video metadata, setting thumbnails, and adding videos to playlists.

How Google user data is used

Google user data is used only to authenticate the authorized YouTube channel and perform actions requested through the private upload workflow. Google user data is not used for advertising, profiling, or sale.

Storage

The application's OAuth authorization token and upload-job information are stored on the privately operated NAS that runs the application. Video source files are also handled on that NAS as part of the team's workflow. The public website does not store the OAuth token and does not provide access to the private uploader.

Sharing

Google user data is not sold. Data is transmitted to Google/YouTube only as necessary to perform authorized YouTube API operations. The application is not offered to the general public and does not provide advertisers or unrelated third parties with access to Google user data.

Retention and revocation

Authorization information may remain stored on the NAS until access is revoked or the locally stored authorization is deleted. The channel owner can revoke the application's Google access through their Google Account security settings.

Security

Access to the private portal is restricted to authorized users. The public informational website is separate from the NAS-hosted uploader and does not expose NAS credentials, uploader credentials, or OAuth tokens.

Google API Services User Data Policy

The application's use of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including applicable Limited Use requirements.
